Buying from a Breeder – SPCA Alberta

As you might have heard on the news recently, some people have had some terrible experiences with so-called puppy breeder. In some cases, the puppies being sold didn’t even exist. In other cases, the puppies were birthed in puppy mills in very horrendous conditions.  In both cases, these experiences have been heartbreaking for the families involved.

When looking to welcome a puppy into your family, it is crucial to do thorough research into potential breeders.
